STATUS & TRANSPARENCY

The work presented here sits across three clearly distinguished stages:

Formalised: Mathematical or conceptual models fully specified and documented.

Simulated: Independent computational or AI-assisted simulations executed to explore internal
coherence and behaviour of the models.

In Active Development: Research programs with defined next-stage simulations or testing designed, but not yet executed.

None of the work has yet undergone peer review. Authorship is claimed transparently, without claims of validation or institutional endorsement.

FOUNDATIONAL FORMAL MODELS

Recursive Field Theory of Consciousness

Status: Formalised · Partially Simulated

A theoretical framework modelling consciousness as an emergent recursive field rather than a static

property or computational output. This work establishes the core mathematical and conceptual assumptions of RFT and provides the foundation for all subsequent models.

Recursive Field Theory of Selfhood

Status: Formalised

A model of identity as a stabilised recursive configuration of meaning, constraint, and orientation.

This work reframes selfhood as adaptive and dynamic, rather than fixed or trait-based.

Biological Recursion and Adaptive Coherence

Status: Formalised · Simulated

Explores how recursive organisation governs biological adaptation and regulation. Independent

simulations examine how coherence, instability, and reorganisation arise under changing constraint

conditions.

COSMOLOGICAL & PHYSICAL FRAMEWORKS

Sub-space and Cosmological Emergence

Status: Formalised

Introduces models of sub-space and emergent structure underlying physical reality, providing a conceptual bridge between physical coherence and higher-order recursive organisation.

Planck-Scale Closure and Recursive Cosmogenesis

Status: Formalised · Simulated

A series of formal models and independent simulations exploring closure principles at the Planck

scale, curvature emergence, and recursive cosmogenesis. This work investigates how stable

structure can arise from recursive constraint and closure conditions.

ADVANCED STRUCTURAL MODELS

Recursive Constraint Geometry of Selfhood (RCGS)

Status: Formalised

A model describing how identity, suffering, and integration arise through constraint geometry rather than narrative or pathology. Distress is reframed as structural constraint distortion, providing a rigorous basis for stabilisation and integration in applied work.

SIMULATION WORK

Independent AI-assisted simulations have been used to:

Explore recursive stability and instability

Test closure behaviour under constraint variation

Examine attractor formation and dissolution

Investigate coherence thresholds across scales

These simulations are exploratory in nature and are used to: test internal consistency, surface unexpected behaviours and inform refinement of formal models.

They are not presented as empirical proof or experimental validation.

ACTIVE RESEARCH PROGRAMS

Substrate-Neutral Recursion and Meaning

Status: In Active Development

An active research program examining whether recursive meaning formation and coherence dynamics are substrate-neutral — that is, whether they can arise independently of biological implementation. This includes the design phase of experiments involving large language models (LLMs) as exploratory substrates. No claims are made regarding equivalence to human consciousness or cognition.

Recursive Orientation and Closure Dynamics

Status: In Active Development

Further modelling and simulation of orientation, closure, and entropy reduction across domains,

with applications to psychology, biology, and collective systems.

RELATIONSHIP TO APPLIED WORK

The research presented here underpins the Coherence Insight Engine (CIE), public insight instruments, practitioner training (RHM), and ethical standards and constraints in applied field work.
